How long does a bleaching last?
The durability of a tooth bleaching depends above all on your way of life. A recoloration will occur faster if you consume things that help discolor your teeth, such as tea, coffee, red wine or smoking. With regular prophylaxis and an average consumption behavior, you will keep a beautiful and radiant smile for about 2 to 5 years. However, teeth whitening may be carried out several times without any problems.
Who performs the bleaching?
Professional bleaching usually lasts 2 hours and is carried out in our dental practice exclusively by trained and experienced specialists.
Is bleaching harmful to my teeth?
As long as the bleaching is carried out by trained specialists, this is not harmful. When it is bleached, we attach great importance to high-quality products and professional treatment. Only tried-and-tested, controlled and approved bleaches are used.
With the home-bleaching method, the used tooth rails are individually adjusted so that you can use them safely. Of course, our patients receive detailed information and further assistance for the application of the home-bleaching method.
What do I have to pay attention to before bleaching?
In principle, a thorough examination by the dentist must be carried out before any tooth whitening. Tooth whitening is only to be performed on healthy teeth and healthy gums. Bleaching is not possible in the case of defective fillings, tooth fractures, tooth decay or a defect in the enamel.
